Cubs tonight

Just to clarify the situation.

There is Cubs tonight. It is the last one of the term and it will be a games night.

There is no Beavers.

Cubs starts again on 18th April with a trip to Hove Fire station. Details to follow.

Pinewood Derby Details

As many of you have noticed the information coming through about tomorrow's Pinewood Derby Event has been pretty patchy.

I am still waiting for confirmation of a finish time. When I get it I'll email it through.

In any case I will have your mobile numbers with me tomorrow so I'll send a text out when it looks like it is drawing to a close.

The venue is the Stanford Avenue Methodist Church Hall.

Registration is from 12:00pm

Races Start at 1pm

As with all cub activities, cubs should attend in uniform.

There are still a couple of cars that don't have weights fitted.  Don't let your cub register their car until it has the weight fitted because it needs to pass the scrutineer with the weight in place. I will bring the remaining weights with me tomorrow.

There will be a tuck shop to pump them full of variously coloured sugars should they have any pocket money with them.

Parent/Carers are free to watch and hang around until they get bored.

Details for the My Faith Badge Day.

East Sussex Cub Scouts My Faith Day – Saturday March 9th 2013, Barcombe Church

The postcode for Barcombe Church is BN8 5TS.

Please arrive for 10.00am start, park in the church car park and walk through the churchyard to the church to book in (there is no need to walk along the road).

Cub scouts need to wear full uniform please.

A Packed lunch and snack is required along with a drink. We will provide a drink and a biscuit for the morning break. Tea, coffee will be available for leaders.

All aspects of the My Faith Badge will be covered during the day and the programme is shown below. These bases are being run by helpers from Barcombe Church who are CRB checked.
