Hove Fire Station Visit this Thursday

Dear All,

the first Cubs meeting of this term is a special trip to the East Sussex Fire and Rescue Service, or Hove Fire Station to you and me.

Gillie has booked us a visit from 7pm which should last about 45 minutes. That said I would be amazed if it will run exactly to time but please be available for pickup again no later than 8pm.

You can find a map  of the location at

We will meet at 6:50pm outside SETyres just next to the Fire Station yard and then go to the fire station when we are all together.

Since the firemen could be called out on an emergency at any moment part of the condition of the tour is that we keep the cubs under close supervision at all times. This means if a cub hasn't arrived 7pm when we have gone into the station then he wont be able to join the tour late. There is also a risk of the tour being curtailed if they are called out. Apparently their insurance wont cover us running around the station, sliding down the poles and playing with the equipment whilst they are not there. How dull.

Let me know if you have any questions.

Thanks,

Tim
